The activities at this TBI shall be co-ordinated by Prof. R.K.Saxena along with the other members of the board of governors. This TBI aims at three objectives. The first being the development of newer ideas and innovations to technologies, second the incubation of juvenile technologies to commercially feasible ventures. The third aim is to train a skilled workforce which is technically skilled in different aspects of industrial microbiology and biotechnology.

At this TBI, ideas and innovations will be nurtured in a holistic view along with the incubation of juvenile technologies into commercially feasible ventures. This TBI shall provide an unique interface for academic and industry wherein the laboratory scale research can be converted into pilot scale processes. Product development shall also form an important part of this TBI.
